Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the objective of the “Sahyog Camp” initiative is to ensure that public grievances are resolved within a fixed time frame, irrespective of whether the issues concern people living in rural or urban areas. He said the programme is intended to provide quick and effective solutions to people’s problems and assured that the government is ready to extend every possible support.
“I assure everyone that all applications received through the ‘Sahyog Camps’ will be resolved within 30 days under all circumstances,” he said.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister reiterated that Sonpur, located across the Ganga River from Patna, would be developed on the lines of Noida, with plans for an airport, a new township, and new bridges parallel to the Mahatma Gandhi Setu and J.P. Setu. He also said the government would construct the Ganga-Ambika Path in Sonpur on the lines of the J.P. Ganga Path in Patna.
“A new township named after Baba Hariharnath is going to be developed in Sonpur. If the land of any person is acquired for the township project and they face any hardship, or if there is a daughter’s marriage in the family, they will receive four times the compensation amount. For this, an application will have to be submitted to the District Magistrate. No one will face any difficulty,” he said.
The Chief Minister also announced that academic sessions would begin from July in the 211 blocks where degree colleges do not currently exist. He added that arrangements were being made to provide quality education to children through Saraswati Vidya Niketan model schools in every block.
He further stated that infrastructure was being strengthened to ensure better healthcare facilities for people at district hospitals.
